I design and facilitate team workshops and off-site meetings to strengthen the collective dynamics around a common project and align the company’s vision, roadmap and organization.
I work with executive teams on issues such as
-
Aligning strategy and roadmap throughout the organization
-
Stimulating collective intelligence to prepare the future
-
Mobilizing the team around a transformation
-
Improving how we work as a team
-
Defining our purpose, culture and values
Some objectives of team building
-
Becoming a cohesive team
-
Getting to know each other better
-
Understanding each other’s personality style (based on Disc, Hogan, MBTI)
-
Restoring trust and engagement
-
Clarifying roles and responsibilities
Team off-site workshops success factors
To be effective and produce lasting results, team workshops must emulate collective intelligence and enable participants to open up in a safe and stimulating environment. In my view, key success factors are:
- Forging an alliance with the team leader by understanding his/her issues and those of the organization, enabling a relationship of parity with the coach during the workshop.
- Involving as many participants as possible in the diagnostic phase prior to the workshop, based on confidential individual interviews.
- Making a complete diagnosis of the situation, then assigning clear objectives to the workshop.
- Having a tool box to address subjects of importance to the participants.
- For the coach, being able to switch easily between the roles of facilitator, moderator, trainer, consultant and coach.
I did not expect this team effectiveness workshop to be so productive. The team came out of it stronger in terms of cohesion, commitment and alignment. These two days have saved us a lot of time in the deployment of our strategy.
